CV Equestrian Park

Chino Valley Equestrian Association

Board of Directors

A volunteer-run board of equestrians from every discipline, dedicated to keeping the park a premier facility for the community.

TR

Trudy Ruth

President

A commercial real estate and contract paralegal, Trudy started riding at age 9 — hunter/jumper and dressage through her early 20s — then took a break to raise a family. She lives in Chino Valley with her husband George, son Terry, dogs Annabelle and Jesse, and horses Grayson and Sal. Joined the CVEA board in 2023 with a focus on improving the park and growing membership and events.

GV

Vice President

Greg has been riding for over 40 years — western, English, jumping, and driving horses and mules in the California back country, plus some cow work in Arizona. He retired from LAPD as a legal advisor after 34 years of service and moved to Arizona in 2015. President of LASER since its inception, and chair of Yavapai County COAD as well as a board member of Arizona VOAD.

MH

Mary Henry

Treasurer

Mary has been riding for over 30 years and loves trail riding and obstacles. A Premier CVEP member, she moved to Arizona in 2000 and to the Prescott area in 2016 with her husband Mike. Her professional background is in commercial banking and real estate development as a senior administrator and paralegal.

LV

Lynn Valenti

Lynn has been involved with horses her whole life — Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Trail, Hunter/Jumpers, and Ranch Riding. A former backcountry mule packer in the High Sierras and retired court reporter, she now competes in Ranch Riding on the AZQHA circuit. Lynn is also a board member and Volunteer Coordinator for LASER and volunteers with Horses with Heart.
