SMS terms of service
Last updated May 2026
By enrolling in Chino Valley Equestrian Park’s (“CVEP”) text-message check-in program, you agree to these terms.
1. Program description
CVEP operates a text-message check-in service for park members. The service lets you check in and out of the park, receive the current gate code, and receive welfare-check notifications by texting our park number.
2. Message types and frequency
Messages are limited to operational/transactional content:
- Check-in and check-out confirmations
- The current park gate code
- Welfare-check reminders when you have not checked out by your expected time
Approximately 2–6 messages per park visit. Frequency varies by how often you visit the park.
3. How to opt in
Provide your mobile number and check the SMS consent box during signup, or on the Account page at any time. Texting JOIN to our park number also opts you in if your number is already on file.
4. How to opt out
Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further texts. Standard carrier opt-out keywords (STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) all work. You can re-enroll by replying JOIN or re-enabling SMS on your account page.
5. How to get help
Reply HELP to any message for a command summary, visit cvequestrianpark.org/sms-help, or email info@cvequestrianpark.org.
6. Costs
Message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless carrier and plan. CVEP does not charge for the service itself.
7. Carrier disclaimer
Wireless carriers (including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and others) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Privacy
Your mobile number and SMS opt-in consent are stored solely to operate this service. We do not share them with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full data handling details.
9. Not a condition of service
SMS check-in is one of several ways to use the park. Enrolling in SMS is not a condition of CVEP membership or any other service we offer.
10. Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be announced via email or SMS. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
