Terms of service
Last updated August 2026
These terms govern your membership and your use of the Chino Valley Equestrian Park facilities and portal. Chino Valley Equestrian Park is operated by Chino Valley Equestrian Association, A 501(c)(3) non-profit · EIN 81-2317933. By creating an account, becoming a member, or entering the park, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the facilities or the portal.
Governing law: State of Arizona.
1. Membership
Membership is personal to you and your registered household. Dues, billing frequency, and any auto-renewal terms are those stated during checkout or on the membership page. Memberships that auto-renew continue until you cancel, which you can do at any time from your portal account. Except where required by law, dues already paid are not refunded for partial periods. You are responsible for keeping your contact and household information current.
2. Bookings & cancellations
Arena, RV, and pen reservations may be booked through the portal. Fees and the cancellation window are those shown during checkout or on the booking page. Cancellations made within that window are eligible for a refund or credit; cancellations outside the window, or no-shows, may be non-refundable and require staff approval for any exception. We may cancel or reschedule bookings for weather, maintenance, safety, or facility conflicts, and will refund or credit affected bookings.
3. Liability & assumption of risk
Chino Valley Equestrian Parkis a working equestrian facility. Horses are large, powerful, and inherently dangerous animals that can behave unpredictably regardless of training or experience. Under Arizona law, an equine activity carries inherent risks — including the propensity of an equine to behave in ways that may result in injury, harm, or death to persons on or around it. You understand and voluntarily accept these risks whenever you or your guests are on the property.
Every member and guest must sign the park's liability waiver before riding or handling horses. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and agree to hold harmless Chino Valley Equestrian Association, its board, volunteers, and staff from any injury, loss, or damage arising out of equestrian activity or use of the facilities, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct. You are responsible for the conduct and safety of your horses, your guests, and any minors in your care.
4. Conduct & park rules
You agree to follow all posted park rules and the reasonable directions of staff and board members. Clean up after your horses, respect other members and their animals, control speed near horses and people, and leave arenas and facilities as you found them. We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that endangers people or animals, damages the facilities, or repeatedly violates park rules.
5. Guest passes
Members may bring guests as allowed by the park's current guest policy. Guest fees, if any, are those stated during checkout or on the booking page. Every guest must sign a waiver before riding or handling horses, and the sponsoring member is responsible for their guests' conduct and compliance with these terms and the park rules.
6. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here and, where appropriate, announced by email. Your continued use of the facilities or portal after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
